We all know that Portillo’s is coming to Bloomington – Normal and will be open sometime next year. The location hasn’t been announced, but the rumors we’ve heard give us a pretty good idea. I was at a birthday luncheon last week and one well connected person told me that they’ll be right next to Red Robin and Chipotle off College and Veteran’s.
That does seem to make perfect sense since the former Wild Berries building was torn down and there is plenty of room. I believe the empty lot next to B104 would be a perfect spot. I wouldn’t have to go as far for breakfast, lunch and dinner
